The So Cal Linux Expo Finalizes their Expo plans

Orv Beach writes “Plans for the Fourth Annual So Cal Linux Expo are being finalized; the speaker tracks are complete, and FourLoop Technologies LLC (http://www.fourloop.com/) has been signed as another Expo sponsor. They’ll have a booth and will demo their SwitchVOX PBX system.

The Saturday Keynote will be “Leveraging Desktop Audio and Video to Drive Your Organization’s Corporate Communications” by Janinne Brunyee of RealNetworks. The Sunday Keynote will be “Why doesn’t Johnny run Linux? Or, Overcoming Desktop Obstacles”, by Dan Kegel of Google.

The Expo will be preceded on Friday by the ODF Workshop, which is scheduled for 1-5 pm., with the keynote speaker being Peter Quinn, former CIO for the state of Massachusetts. This will be Peter’s first public speaking engagement since leaving the employ of Massachusetts. The ODF workshop will be followed by a social hour at the Top Of The Radisson bar.
