Anonymous Reader writes “The Australian UNIX and Open Systems User Group will hold its annual national conference at the Duxton Hotel, Melbourne, from September 1 to 3… while the conference would focus on identity and authentication on the internet, it would also address topics ranging from Linux to Java, Open Source databases, spam laws, thin clients, Australia’s fastest computer, firewalls, viruses and general computer security…. Among the speakers are Theo de Raadt, founder of the OpenBSD project, Bdale Garbee, a former leader of the Debian/GNU Linux project and now with HP, Tony Judge of the Australian Government Information Management Office.”
