IBM is targeting software it usually reserves for the corporate sphere at smaller businesses

IBM on Wednesday launched a new initiative to court medium-sized businesses — that is, companies with between 100 and 1,000 employees — with its
WebSphere software and Global Services offerings, which it generally reserves for larger businesses.
