Marty Lamb writes “Statistical filters like PopFile are great at detecting and filtering spam at the client side, but they don’t cause spammers any pain. Today I published a suggestion for a method of using statistical techniques on the server side to actively combat spammers. I’m also launching a project called TarProxy to implement the method.”
