Newsbytes reports on the development of two new worms that have been designed to stop the headache-inducing Code Red in its tracks. First is CodeGreen, which scans the Internet for afflicted servers and attempts to download and apply patches and close back doors left by Code Red. Next is CRclean, a “passively spreading worm” according to its creator, which only targets systems that first attack a machine running CRclean.
