Backing up an iphone in Linux
I was wondering if there are any ways/hacks for backing up and restoring an iphone under Linux? I used to use Linux a number of years ago but was forced to use windows for a specific software program not available in Linux. Now I am back using Linux again and would like to have this ability since apple forces you to upgrade the os from time to time... I have thought about itunes under wine but that seems problematic. Then there could be windows in a virtual box with itunes, but that seems like a lot of work and waisted space just to backup a phone... I could go back to my android phone but I have no money right now and am half way through my current contract with the iphone... all suggestions are appreciated! peace, k

Well you can go to the Files application after you plug in your iPhone and then go down to devices and back up any photos, music, files, etc. You can copy the whole device and put it into a folder for a full backup.
