New to Linux. Thought I would run it in a trial from usb stick. It is on the stick. Changed the Bios to read off the stick on the boot. Win10 keeps defaulting around the stick and does its thing? Please when you answer keep it simple. I read one answer to

Hi, I have discovered that a production environment (running Ubuntu 64) has Gnome installed on it but I don't use this and simply traverse using the command line (bash). Can I uninstall or stop gnome running without causing any damage.
