Exit grub mode???

 I have a computer that runs on a Linux operating system and now it is in some weird dos mode "grub" and I cant get it out. PLEASE HELP!

have the same prob here says.....grub rescue>.......what command do i type to...

The wierd dos mode you see is grub. Its GRand Unified Boot Loader. It loads...

Drecosz is right. It doesnt know where your partitions are.

'GRUB' should be a boot loader. This is where partitions comes into play. For an example, I have 2 partitions on one of my laptops. 1. MINT LINUX (of course). and 2. Windows XP PRO. Because my MINT LINUX is set by default to run first, when my computer boots up into the 'GRUB', it will ask me what OS (Operating System) to load. Mint or Windows. Hope this helps.
