I agree with the UEFI issue comment and turning it off first. Something else to consider is to shrink the size of the Windows 10 partition to make room for the new Linux install if you want to dual boot. Information on how to do that can be found using Google.

Well personally, I would install Linux over Windows 10 and create a Windows 10 virtual machine using your Windows 10 license. But maybe that's not what you're asking.
