If you want to save your documents, pictures and music then dump them to a USB drive, thumb drive or CD, then you basically boot an Zorin image on CD or USB and do the live-cd version first and try it out. The menus are pretty intuitive and have an XP emulation mode, which I think was the default. If you like it, you do the install, telling it to use the whole disk (if your totally replacing XP) and your done. You give it your wireless router password and networking takes off. Then you restore your saved docs, pics and music and you're done. The included programs will open your docs, display your pics and play your music. Then it's just up to you to experiment with other applications.
