How to increase my Linux partition size?
I am running Linux Mint in dual boot with Windows 7. I am really new to Linux but I am liking the feel of it and have started to install applications and games.
I now have found myself with only a small amount of space left from my original 30 GB allocation. Is there a way to increase my partition size without losing data or deleting Linux and starting again as I have plenty of space on my Windows partition left?. thanks.
I have searched it and most results came up with a program called Gparted. I set it up on a USB and I can run the software, however, I am not sure how to use it correctly as there seems to be many guides that complete this task in different ways. Thanks in advanced for the help.

Here is a link on how to shrink NTFS partitions which is what windows uses. I might add that I have used gParted and it is relatively easy to use to shrink and expand partitions.
