I don't know what the one guy is talking about (configuring a fresh install?), Fedora is about as easy an install and run as you can get. I currently have it installed on 3 boxes - desktop, laptop, home server. There was no configuration after the install, everything seemed to work just fine out of the gate.
I have a lot a friends that use Ubuntu &/or Kubuntu as well and like it. I just never got along very well w/ Debian or Debian based distros.
I do believe Fedora is a little stronger in the business world, just my personal take on it.
