No.

You need to make sure that the Boot Order (or maybe the BIOS) is set so that it boots from the CD-Rom or USB first - before the Hard Drive. You can later change it back if you want to.

There should be no reason to change bios to access a newly installed hard drive. Installation of Fedora should work fine.
