Google Chrome is no longer supported for 32bit versions of Linux. So if you have a 32-bit install of Linux Mint, copy the following lines into a terminal one at a time:

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list
sudo apt-get remove google-chrome-stable

You can still run Google Chrome on 64-bit versions of Linux Mint. But in order for your updates to install, if you have a 64-bit install of Linux Mint, copy the following lines into a terminal one at a time:

sudo sed -i -e 's/deb http/deb [arch=amd64] http/' "/etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list"
sudo sed -i -e 's/deb http/deb [arch=amd64] http/' "/opt/google/chrome/cron/google-chrome"
