There is no specific Linux for Windows, because Linux and Windows are each independent operating systems. Linux and Windows can be combined on the same hard drive, together forming a dual-boot system (the limiting form of multi-boot). Instructions for doing this will vary with the versions of both (Windows and Linux), but can be found here:

Nearly every Linux OS will have a partitioner during the install. All you have to do is follow the install instructions, and set up how much space you want the specific Linux distro to have. You can do this as many times as desired.

if you looking to work linux inside windows. Then try to install any virtualisation software.
try this as its free one https://www.virtualbox.org/

if u looking for dual boot. make sure u hve one separate partiton for linux.

Note : if u install linux on the top on windows. your MBR will be over written and linux boot loader enables you to load both windows and linux.

if u install windows on top linux, then also MBR over written. but windows bootloader dont allow linux to load. but Linux OS files would reside in its partition(but dont boot). Then in this case u need to install linux bootloader so it will overwrite windows one.
