Is there a good user's guide to Linux’s INSERT-1.3.9b_en(1).iso program?
My desktop stopped installing XP Professional before I could dual install it with Ubuntu. Is Linux’s INSERT-1.3.9b_en(1).iso a good first step to fixing the Windows installation problem(s)? If so, is there a good user’s step by step guide for using this program?

You usually fix windows installation problems using the window installation CD. Ubuntu has a program call boot-repair that is designs to repair windows installations.
If your computer stopped installing windows XP, your installation CD my damage as I am assuming, you installed it before.
