One of the nice things about having Linux, is that since you don’t have to worry about viruses,etc , you can spend your time online doing other things.. like playing around with different applications.
I found one that was very useful – computer janitor. It cleans up your system of unused applications, add-ons and anything that may have been added with any updates. That makes it work faster and better. It got rid of a glitch that slowed down the log-in time in mine . I suggest a thorough clean up at least once a month.. to keep things running smoothly. The less clutter, the better an OS runs. Computer janitor also makes suggestions for optimizing as well. So you not only get rid of things that aren’t used, but you optimise those which you do.
