Ouch,

Just call me mistake prone. I got up this morning , sick from an infected tooth my world spinning and tried to keep building LFS. Big mistake.. I missed part of the build I think but I’m not sure. I know I didn’t build Berkeley-DB, I got a ./configure error in IProute2 and when I googled it , the answer pointed me to missing Berkeley-DB.. It was mentioned that I should also rebuild Perl as it makes a module for berkeley. So , here I am building and rechecking Perl…. , It will be interesting if my earlier error having to do with setsockets or something or other , have to go back to get the exact name from my last blog… 🙂 crops up again or if I ‘ll have to use it at all this time???

It’s finished and yes same error so my missing berkeley had nothing to do with that error. hrrrrrrrrm???

ext/Sys/Syslog/t/syslog…………………………………# Failed test ‘setlogsock() should return true: ”’
# at ../ext/Sys/Syslog/t/syslog.t line 204.
FAILED at test 176
have to reuse the sed command

It worked Perl passed with flying colors 😀
