7-Eleven lowers technology costs with IBM and Trustix Linux Solutions

“Trustix, an emerging force in the adoption of Linux technology in the enterprise, today announced that 7-Eleven, a worldwide leader in convenience retailing, has deployed the Trustix Linux Solutions (TLS) suite on IBM Intel-based servers. 7-Eleven’s initial deployment is running the Trustix Mail Server with AntiVirus scanning on an IBM eServer xSeries to scan e-mail for viruses before distributing it internally to all staff and employees throughout the 7-Eleven computer network.”
