Anna Gola writes “NEW YORK, NY – February 8, 2005 – AdRem Software, provider of network management solutions, announced the availability in Japan of its AdRem NetCrunch 3.1 network monitoring solution with Japanese language support. AdRem’s monitoring tool targets small-to-medium size businesses that seek integrated cross-system alternatives to narrow-focused point solutions. With NetCrunch, network professionals can visualize network structure and problems in real-time using the program’s integrated discovery, monitoring, alerting and reporting technology.

The localized version of NetCrunch is introduced in Japan jointly by the producer and the Tokyo-based supplier of foreign-made software, hardware and computer peripherals, Inisia (formerly called Softchina Japan Corp.) The latter is AdRem Software’s partner and sole distributor in Japan and Inisia handles all the local PR, sales and support activities around NetCrunch.

Morito Hirasato, President of Inisia, said, “NetCrunch has what it takes to succeed in Japan – it’s high-performing, easy to use and sports a well thought-out, intuitive design. We’ve never had this kind of clarity and integration in network management in Japan, so I’m proud that we and AdRem are the ones to bring it along.”

“It’s a major milestone for our company as expansion into international markets can be a catalyst for our growth,” said Borys Skraba, AdRem’s International Sales Manager. “This is going to be the first fully-localized non-English version of our product, which indicates our commitment to this competitive and demanding market. I’m happy that Japanese administrators can now tap into the user-friendly monitoring capabilities of NetCrunch available via native-language management interface and documentation.”

ABOUT ADREM NETCRUNCH
With AdRem NetCrunch, administrators of cross-platform networks can make more efficient use of their time, budget, and IT resources. The program automatically discovers the physical and logical network topologies, documents and displays network assets via dynamically updated graphical views, and starts proactive agentless monitoring of network devices, systems, services, and applications. In case of a network problem, AdRem NetCrunch can automatically take a corrective action or notify predefined user groups via email, pager, SMS, SNMP, syslog message or ICQ, providing necessary diagnostic information and tools. Additionally, users can analyze performance trends and receive scheduled reports – also via a web browser – that support informed network capacity planning.
