Applications often use tables where a large amount of related data needs to be presented in the familiar rows-and-columns format. Demanding applications, such as those used in the animation, petrochemical, financial, and military sectors, often require more advanced functionality such as sorting, grouping, highlighting, and editing as well as the ability to insert widgets into cells and to assemble custom printouts. Until now, building these advanced functions with the native Qt components was difficult or impossible. QicsTable’s extended API gives developers a direct and easy-to-program way to provide table-based interfaces that respond to end-users’ demands.

QicsTable is available under both the GNU Public License (GPL) and a commercial source license. Source code is provided under both licenses, so that developers are able to build QicsTable in their specific development environment. In addition to QicsTable, ICS offers graphing and testing tools as well as training for Qt. GraphPak is an object-oriented programming library that provides software developers with a set of C++ objects to easily create charts or graphs that aid in the visual presentation of technical and business data. KD Executor is a noninvasive, advanced regression testing harness for Qt that uses the actual application to record tests that can be later played back on the target computer system to verify proper operation of the application.
