AMD builds new research centre to keep an eye on Linux

AMD announced plans for an Operating System Research Center (OSRC) in Dresden. The chipmaker says the OSRC will become its world-wide centre of compentence to ensure AMD processors like the operating systems that are supposed to run on them.
