Apple’s iPod – more to it than meets the eye?

Kelly McNeill writes: “The one that stuck with me most though, was a comment regarding the name of the thing: “What does ‘iPod’ have to do with music?” Of all the comments, that question has befuddled me most. It’s true — there is nothing about the name “iPod” that suggests music. In fact, the name is so generic that an uneducated consumer wouldn’t be able to guess at iPod’s purpose without some explanation. Then it struck me — what if that’s the point?“
