Arch Linux – Easy, simple and clean

In the world of Linux distributions, Suse, Fedora/Red Hat. Mandrake, and Debian seem to be the hot talk of town. The smaller distributions often get overlooked when people contemplate moving to Linux, even though these distributions are capable of performing well like their larger cousins. One such distribution is Arch Linux – a cross between Slackware and Gentoo, with the stability and simplicity of slackware and the speed of Gentoo. Packages are i686 optimized unlike its i486 optimized cousin, Slackware.
