Bad economy’s good for Open Source, not for Linux companies

They’re not the first to say this, but eWeek has a story about the bad economy benefiting Open Source. eWeek’s take on the issue is that the bad economy will shake out “resellers” of Linux and companies instead will focus on “technology that’s based on solutions and not an operating system.”
