Work on the Microsoft-friendly open-source Boo language is nearing completion. Boo is a new object-oriented statically typed programming language for the Microsoft CLI (Common Language Infrastructure) with a Python inspired syntax and a special focus on language and compiler extensibility, said Rodrigo Barreto de Oliveira, the creator of the language.
