James Pyles writes “I have to confess, I was looking forward to reviewing this book for a personal reason…I recently installed Ubuntu 6.06 on my Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop. I took a rather secret thrill in deleting Windows XP Professional and replacing it with Ubuntu. I’ve been running Dapper Drake in VMware and tried to break it as many ways as I could. When I couldn’t and when I’d completed my research, I took the plunge. I thought that reviewing the book (and reading it) would provide me with the “inside story” about working and playing with Ubuntu beyond what I’ve discovered so far.”
