Build Your Own Ubuntu
Anonymous Reader writes "With the release of Vista and the curiosity people have with trying other operating systems in light of its release, I have found myself knee deep in a number of operating systems over the course of the past few months. BSD, Linux, even OS X. But when it comes to Linux, there are still a number of users feeling overwhelmed as they become confused with this Linux distribution’s way of doing things: why are there no multimedia CODECS already installed, how come Java and Flash are left out by default, and if there are legal issues surrounding these items, how come there are no documents on the desktop to easily explain all of this?"
