This will be the most exciting new Linux event in several years. The Think-Linux Solutions Show is a new format that spotlights Linux Software solutions. The show has been built as an expansion of the popular regional Linux at the Office Expo that has been given in Toledo the past two years. Think-Linux will be an expanded show to include a back to back one day Conference (October 30th) and one day Exhibition (October 31st).
Linux.Org’s are invited to display their software at the Exhibition. They will be provided an 8 x 10 booth complete with carpet, electricity, Internet connection, table & chairs, skirting. They will also be provided an opportunity to provide a one hour Conference presentation. This opportunity will be given on a “first come, first served” basis so please contact us if interested.
IBM is a Gold Sponsor and many of the other hardware and software manufacturers in the industry will be Sponsors and participants. Some of the most popular Open Source projects such as the LTSP.Org and the Koha.Org also will be represented. The show is interesting many new firms to make presentations or purchase Exhibit booths.
This show provides an excellent value for Linux software firms who tend to be smaller companies and therefore appreciate the opportunity to exhibit their software without the huge costs of other Linux Expo’s.
The Conference on Wednesday October 30th will provide a venue for management level personnel to see real Linux solutions. The Conference will provide attendees the opportunity to see Linux solutions that have been installed and talk to the actual customers who have made the transition to Linux.
