Can spam before it's too late

Kelly McNeill writes "In a recent survey, marketing executives were asked if they ever use unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE) to market their business. Their answer? One in 25 said "yes." The results are astounding -- assuming the respondents were a representative sample. The most amazing thing is that the figure only indicates which companies are willing to admit that they use spam in their marketing. Even so, one in 25 is an ugly percentage. In case you didn't realize it yet, something needs to be done really soon to prevent further e-mail abuse."
