CD sales drop despite Napster's silence

Hmmmm, so Napster wasn't the problem after all? Reuters reports that U.S. music product shipments fell 4.4 percent in the first
half of 2001, the Recording Industry Association of America says, despite the
industry's success in stifling its nemesis Napster.
