Celebrating the Open Source Automation Development Lab's first anniversary

When manufacturers of industrial automation hardware and software decided to use Linux and other Open Source software components in their products, they were confronted with the necessity to make the source code available. Interestingly, they were not worrying about making sources available per se, but rather they did not want to pay for the development of a certain software component that others -- possibly competitors -- could use free of charge.
