Census makes quick work of stats

Want U.S. Census data, but don't want to sift through the overwhelming raw details to find what you're looking for? Try quickfacts.census.gov. Not only does it offer the most-requested information on the nation's most recent headcount, it serves that information on an Open Source platter. Applications created to run the site are called "LAMP," for Linux, Apache, MySQL, and Perl. Full story at Government Computer News.
