CIO survey: Linux growing

C|Net reports on a Morgan Stanley August survey of 225 CIOs. “Among the respondents, 29 percent said they owned Linux servers, and 8 percent are formally considering buying them. On an informal basis, 17 percent of the CIOs said they were considering Linux servers. The remainder (46 percent) noted they didn’t own and weren’t considering Linux.”
