CIOs see recovery in Q2 2002

Reported at The Industry Standard: “A recovery in demand for technology goods is
not expected before the second quarter of next
year, according to the latest survey of chief
information officers by Merrill Lynch.

The survey of 65 CIOs, 50 in the U.S. and 15 in
Europe, found IT spending is expected to grow
2.6 percent this year, increasing slightly to a rate
of 4.6 percent in 2002.”
