Companies cringe at Microsoft licensing
USA Today: "Fierce resistance is brewing to Microsoft's new software licensing program for businesses... But many companies resent paying upfront for an unknown product. And many don't want to upgrade as often as Microsoft suggests. Office 97, released five years ago, is still widely used despite rollouts of Office 2000 and Office XP.
