Computer case design starves function while feeding form

NewsFactor Network writes "The open architecture of the PC is becoming more and more of a stumbling block than a stepping stone toward offering unique features. It now seems like the only thing PC manufacturers can do to differentiate themselves is to offer their customers superior case designs. If the PC industry is to save itself from a future where only two or three manufacturers survive vendors must learn how to design a computer case that considers both form as well as function."
