Dell is now selling Red Flag Software Co. Ltd.’s Linux on its PowerEdge servers in China, the company announced Thursday.
Red Flag, a joint venture between Beijing Founder Electronics, the Institute of Software Academia Sinica Sino-Software System, and Compaq China, is
the largest-selling Linux distribution in China, where it’s most often dropped into desktops by Chinese PC makers.
