Red Hat is 10 years old, and its last two major versions have focused on usability enhancements. In fact, all the Linux vendors are placing greater
emphasis on the desktop market. Microsoft commands virtually the entire desktop operating system market, and increasingly the war for OS hearts and
minds is coming down to the place where it's really always been centered, the desktop. After all, that's mainly how Microsoft won its position as the
premier operating system maker.
