Developing a Web service on Linux
Anonymous Reader writes "This article walks you through building and testing a Web service on Linux, using a hypothetical banking application as an example. We'll use the Web service tools and Extensible Markup Language (XML) editor in WebSphere® Studio Application Developer 5.0 from IBM® to develop the Web service for the server. Then, we'll create a client application to access the service. Finally, we'll test the service and client application in WebSphere Studio's test environment. Along the way, some Linux idiosyncrasies are highlighted for the newbie."
