Distribution Alignment Underway?
Author: Chuck Talk
Chuck Talk writes "The last year has seen a growing expanse of interest in Linux, primarily through corporate adoption. That adoption is finally realizing the powerful dream of harnessing the types of capabilities that were previously only available in proprietary UNIX platforms and making it available on inexpensive hardware. One odd question has arisen in my observation of the continual evolution of the Linux distributions, and that is the alignment factor of major corporate interests with those distributions."
