In-memory database vendor McObject and embedded Linux OS and tools provider Sysgo have partnered on a development package targeting data-intensive
industrial applications. The package includes McObject's eXtremeDB database for x86, reference applications, and Sysgo's ELinOS Basic Toolbox.
The package is based on Sysgo's ELinOS distribution, which the company claims reduces resource requirements for Linux while extending real-time
capabilities. ELinOS users include VDO Dayton for car infotainment systems, Rohde & Schwarz for its Protocol Tester, and Honeywell Building
