eRacks Open Source Systems recently released a Linux-powered eRacks/CENTRINO laptop with built-in wireless. Based on Intel’s Centrino technology, the company reports that the 5.6-pound laptop has up to 7 hours of battery life, power management utility, a handy taskbar battery meter, and a full suspend/resume/poweroff capability.The laptop features a choice of Linux operating systems including Red Hat, Fedora, Lindows, Mandrake Linux, FreeBSD, and OpenBSD.
