Windows being there for the times when Linux couldn’t get the job done. Today however, that is no longer the case. Linux has arrived for me as a
powerful desktop solution. In particular, I have fallen in love with the powerful GNOME desktop platform. This article describes why I like GNOME so
much. I discuss my experiences with GNOME and my particular fondness for the latest version, GNOME 2.6.
