Fedora Linux CDs to go on sale

Anthony Saffer writes “As of April 1, 2004 Open Source Strategies – a new company dedicated to introducing open source solutions to non-profits and government agencies – will begin offering CD sets of the Fedora Cora Linux distribution. Users will be able to order both CD only sets and CD+Printed Documentation sets to be delivered via regular US mail.

Initially, the service will only be available to U.S., Canadian, and Mexican residents but we plan to offer it worldwide within 6 months. This service is designed to meet the needs of users who want to use Fedora but simply don’t have the bandwidth or connection speed for such a large download.

Purchasing the CD or CD+Doc will entitle the user to either installation support or one month regular technical support. Other support options will be available for purchase soon.
