First Review of SuSE 8.1

Anonymous Reader writes: “OSNews got early access to SuSE 8.1 Professional (coming out in USA on Tuesday) and they gave it a spin. Apparently SuSE uses the Keramik Qt theme and Crystal icon theme by default, but with a brand new, SuSE-branded window manager theme to… compete with Red Hat’s Bluecurve theme. The author found a number of glitches on SuSE 8.1, but also a number of welcomed additions and rich features not available on other distributions. Interesting reading overall about this Linux distro which is “full of potential” according to the reviewer and the main competitor to Red Hat 8.”
