Free x86 router distro scales to 10Gbps

Vyatta announced that its Debian Linux-based x86 routing distribution can scale to environments running at 10Gbps. Vyatta says that PCs running the software can replace 10Gbps-capable systems from proprietary vendors, while costing “a small fraction” of what some vendors charge for 10Gbps add-in cards alone.
