Hamburg, Germany – 2004-05-04. froglogic today announced the
availability of Squish, the automated GUI testing framework for Qt
applications, for Qt/Embedded.
Squish is an automated GUI test tool for testing Qt
applications. Squish supports testing of Qt 3.x applications under
Qt/Desktop platforms, including Windows, Linux, and various flavours
of Unix. With this new release Squish adds support for automated
testing of Qt/Embedded, version 2.3 or later, and Qtopia
applications.

The distributed architecture of Squish lends itself to testing
embedded applications. The software can be tested while running on an
embedded device from the desktop PC via the Squish IDE or via virtual
framebuffer emulation. This flexibility allows for easy integration of
Qt/Embedded and Qtopia application testing into any development or
test environment.
