The future of DRM in museums
Tim Redburg writes "In the areas of art and the preservation of important history in the near future, DRM will surely taint the human ability and moreso the right to learn. Digital Restrictions Management and the continued distribution of knowledge are two factors of modern society that are mutually exclusive. They cannot coexist without a battle to the death. The psychosocial resource is the most important resource of any society or organization of any type: Big or small, the strength of that particular social group is entirely dependent on the intellectual abilities, knowledge and willpower of the individuals."
