Moshe Bar writes “Zach Welch announced yesterday the fork of Gentoo under the Zynot Foundation umbrella. His reasons to fork are personal problems with the Gentoo leader Daniel Robbins. This marks a first in OpenSource. Never before has a software been forked due to inter-personal difficulties. In my short piece I analyze this fork and ultimately reject it as invalid. I invite the community to join in in declaring the fork immoral, unethical and uncalled for.”
